Let`s talk about Fairy tail!

Fairy tail is an anime based on a popular shonen mangas written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima.  Please help yourselves to wikipedia for the storyline. I first started watching it back in 2010, a nerdy friend of mine told me there was this really cool anime called fairy tail with wizards, talking cats and dragon slayers.
Talking cats? ok   After death note and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood,there is no way I was going to watch an anime with talking cats or alligators! Bleach: hell verse just came out and I was in the middle of the sabaody arc with one piece.
                                               

But my friend kept bugging me and I gave in, my first impression was another shonen with a dumb blond heroin who needs to be saved by an even dumber hero with superpowers.
It`s when gray and erza were introduce to the series that I changed my mind about fairy tail, Gray fullbuster is awesome.He`s got this bad boy attitude and some real swag, my favourite character
 Yeah! it`s a cool anime with some badass female characters like erza and mirajane who can kick some serious a**.We don`t see that often in anime, my favourite female characters since C18. Erza is by far my favourite fairy tail character, that girl is strong and can kick some real a**

Gray & Leon

I became a fan with the phantom lord arc, I love gajeel dirty smile, it became even better with tower of heaven and oracion seis arcs  but now it`s kind of a mess .There are some characters who are really useless or maybe it`s just too many slayers(god slayer,sky dragon slayer,smiling panda slayer,...).The fact that the dragon slayers were so unique made the story really interesting but we now have a slayer in every corner even Gray is a devil slayer.

Fairy tail is also known for it`s overdone fan service, there is a lots of nudity in that anime, almost all fights end with torn clothes now. I think Fairy tail doesn`t really need that, it`s a fantastic anime with great characters and all that ecchi  is turning this great shonen into one of those stupid ecchi anime where even sneezing is an excuse to show some nudity.Then againI`m a girl, I guess looking at boobies is not as enjoyable as it is for male fans.
I still think hiro Mashima is going a bit too far, since fairy tail started airing again I haven`t watched it yet and I stopped reading the manga. Is it still worth it? I think fairy tail can`t get any better than the Tenrou island, I consider it fairy tail best arc ever.
