Anime: ENGLISH DUBBED OR NOT!

As I said in one of my recent post, I started watching anime again.Like back in the days when I used to be a nerd, I have been wondering  if anime are best English dubbed or in Japanese with English subtitles. For non anime fan this question may seem silly but it`s a very hot topic in the anime community. I remember that we used to have heated arguments about it in anime forums.


Personally I think they are both good! But for some anime I prefer to watch them in Japanese with English subtitles and other are better in English.
 My favourite English dubbed anime is Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, Edward Elric voice actor did a fantastic job.I watched it in Japanese, English and French, they were all very good but my favourite is the English version.  

The worst anime ever to watch in English is One piece, the voice actors are horrible,I always watch it in French, France have one the best voice actors in Europe.I was first introduce to anime in France while living there, mangas and anime are very big there. France is the biggest mangas consumer in the world after Japan.

Luffy voice in french is amazing,very lively and suits his goofy side but my favourite got to be zoro, his voice actor have the sexiest voice out there. I always thought that One piece was best non dubbed until I heard zoro`s French voice. I`m very grateful that I haven`t lost my French since moving back to England.

First  I want to say that I`m not a big naruto fan, I  may  not be impartial here. Naruto Shippuden is the only anime I watch in Japanese but I still find naruto annoying. How can an anime character be annoying in 3 different languages? I know some people won`t be happy about this but I just don`t understand why he is so popular.I mean he is a loud brat with an obsession for Sasuke and ignore the only girl who really loves him. Why is this even a shounen, it should be a yaoi.

Finally Ulquiorra, one of my favourite bad guy ever,he is the only character I know who`s ever kicked the hero a** in every encounter they  had.To me he is Ichigo`s worst opponent ever. I always watch bleach in Japanese and French.The English version is not very good,it feels slow compare the original one. The voice actors sound constipated.  

Whatever anime are best dubbed or not, really depend on the person as for me they are both good as long as it`s well done!
